Bienvenidos a Costa Rica!
After traveling for long hours, our students arrived Safely in Costa Rica! Everyone is settling into their new home in Junquillal (Guanacaste province).
We are more than happy to welcome our 13 students, so now let’s welcome our 13 families who will be traveling and experiencing with all of us throughout the next week.
On our way from the airport, we stopped to get some snacks and start practicing our Spanish. At the home base, we walked on the beach, completed the swim test, watched the sunset together and had a delicious Costa Rican dinner. After dinner, we played a couple of get-to-know games, while our last four students arrived from the airport. We can’t wait for the adventures, service learning, lifelong memories, and deep friendships that await.
