Here are our first photos of the program:
7/4/2015
GLA members woke up and had breakfast at 7AM. Service began at 8Am to 12 paining tires, then using them later as flower boxes.
12 members have lunch, after lunch, members left for a hike to a dried up water fall at 130 until 3.
Back at HomeBase members payed Stories of Self until 4PM. The game of Stories of Self is payed like this, members sit across from each other and are giving a question to answer to their partner ten everyone switches partners every five mins, some questions can be stories about your childhood to something that you have overcome.
We the. Played futbol until 6pm and then had dinner.
After lunch everyone had a 4th of July party and played games until 9, the members then packed to go camping on the beach the next day.

Day 5 was an amazing day with many activities as games. We started the day playing trees into the tires we had painted the day before. Afterwards, we rode a vehicle called the “green beast” which looked like it came straight out of world war 2. It was amazing!!! :—)))
We then had so much fun swimming on the beach because we saw a lot of marine life and snails! We had hamburgers (which were pretty good) after our beach trip. We went to sleep afterwards in our tent which was very roomy, and seven of us woke up at 5am because of the howlers monkeys. But we had an awesome day!!!!

- Woke up late 715am
- Had cereal and toast with jelly and or peanut butter for breakfast 730am
- Went on a morning beach hike 8am
- Had free time after Freddy’s hike to swim 9am
- Packed up and emptied tents 11am
- Left for dry forest base 12pm
- Arrived at homebase1pm
- Had Mac and cheese, bread, and rice pudding for lunch 130pm
- Had free them after lunch, for showers and bathroom 2pm
- Reflected during selfie time 3pm
- Attended Costa Rican wildfire presentation 430pm
- Had bbq for dinner 6pm
- Whipped and Neneed to hard bass 7pm
- Danced to mariachi band music 8pm
- Performed necessary nightly rituals and went to bed 9pm
